About Dr. Sigman
A native to the Black Hills, Daniel E. Sigman D.C. went to under graduate school at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, and earned his chiropractic degree at Western States Chiropractic College. A student of natural health care for many years, he has continued intensive postgraduate studies in clinical nutrition, Applied Kinesiology, multiple diversified chiropractic techniques with the most prominent holistic practioners in the country.

Is Medical Treatment Enough?
Most medical doctors direct their diagnosis and treatment toward disease, acute infection and serious trauma. However, conventional medicine often doesn't have the answers for the patient with functional illness, in which the person doesn't feel well and has any number of symptoms, but does not have a readily diagnosed disease. Often patients complain of chronic headaches, fatigue or back pain, only to be told they are "as healthy as a horse," or they will "have to live with it" or "it's in their head."
Holistic providers are needed to fill in the gaps left by conventional medicine. They are trained to see health issues along a spectrum from optimal health to disease.
Holistic chiropractic care is not a substitute for medical care.
Dr. Sigman's work complements medical care. It does not take the place of regular medical exams, diagnostic procedures and treatment. Dr. Sigman prefers to provide care in conjunction with the medical community.

Treatments Offered
TBM, NET & CRA
TBM (Total Body Modification) and NET (Neuro Emotional Technique) are Kinesiologic or muscle testing techniques that xare based in eastern (Acupuncture and Meridian) therapies. This is done without needles. Instead, adjustments are done on the meridians to balance the body and help it to grow healthier. Acupuncture points, that are associated with different organs and glands are held while a muscle is tested. If the test shows weak, an adjustment is done to the paired meridian that parallels the spine and; adjusting the spine at the same time.
TBM focuses on balancing organs and glands while NET works to separate negative emotions from our physical self so that they do not have an adverse reaction on our bodies.
CRA (Contact Reflex Analysis) is similar in it's testing, but focuses on using nutrition to correct problems in the body.
With this combination of techniques and in conjunction with regular Chiropractic adjusting we are able to address a broader range of problems.
These techniques are not perfect and don't always work 100% of the time, but they are highly successful and very non-invasive with little or no side effects.

Dr. Sigman's purpose is to help people of all ages - from infants to seniors - restore and maintain function and balance in their bodies. He takes a comprehensive and integreative approach to health care; helping people remove obstacles - structual, nutritional or energetic - that interfere with health.
This approach emphasizes the power of personal responsibility for health and wellness, in a culture that is often counterproductive to our well-being. Although many of his patients experience rapid resolution of their pain and other symtoms, Dr. Sigman's approach does not offer a "quick-fix." Rather he works in partnership with his patients, providing knowledge and encouraging self-awareness to help them maintain their health.
